PAOUL RUN THE CATWALK IN NEW YORK: PRESTIGIOUS PARTNERSHIP WITH THE PARSON SCHOOL OF DESIGN AND THE POLITECNICO CALZATURIERO OF THE RIVIERA DEL BRENTA.
A prestigious collaboration has seen the Parson School of Design in New York – one of the most famous schools of art and design of the world - and the Politecnico Calzaturiero in the Riviera del Brenta. This last one, for the seventh year, decided to promote a special partnership between the two institutes that also involved Paoul among the protagonists. The Venetian company, that always loves to give itself a challenge and that is known overseas as one of the leader of the Made in Italy shoe industry, was chosen as partner with the task of realizing some of the shoes born from the connection between the two schools.
The graduands of the New Parson Schools of Design and the students of the third year with the specialization in "Industrialization of Models and Structures" of the School of Design and Technique of Shoe of the Politecnico collaborated – respectively in the creative side and in the technical one – to create a collection that was the protagonist of an amazing charity fashion show that took place on last May 18th in New York as completion of the project.
"The promotion of new talents is one of the principles that subtend the soul of Paoul – commented Cinzia Pizzocaro, stylist of the Venetian shoe factory – The love for our work, the passion for dance, the care for details, the promotion of Made In Italy, are just some of the reasons that always push us to take part in new projects, sometimes innovative and pioneering as this one". "We experimented new shapes and materials and, why not – concluded Cinzia – we also had fun". In particular two boots models were realized, both in three different colors.
The inspiration, is that tendency of 2016 that sees men and women characterized with a futurist allure, with the use of technical materials, with cold or shimmering colors and strong lines. The first one, a combinable boot, with a complex structure, with interchangeable parts of the upper thanks to the snap buttons. The second, a tubular boot, with removable structure that can be adapted on the other color variants. All in the sign of experimentation as Paoul always love to do.
